General medicine is that branch of medicine that deals with the treatment non-surgically. The general medicine professional treats patients with the use of medications.  General medicine specialists treat a wide ranging of health disorders from head to toe and will refer to relevant specialists if necessary. They also provide care to the elderly or terminal ill patients providing general and preventive medicines and manage physical conditions like asthma, arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and heart disease.

General Medicine deals with almost all range of both acute and chronic diseases including:

• Fever
• Asthma
• Hypertension
• Thyroid malfunctions
• Liver problems
• Cardiac problems

Apart from these diseases, high cholesterol, influenza, headache, chest pain, abdomen pain, cough, respiratory infections, pneumonia, anxiety, infections and other diseases are covered and treated under general medicine.

We have department of Critical Care consists of 7 beds.
